The US of A

Here I am back in the US...it's very weird...I'm not quite sure that I can put it into words. There are many things that I love about America, but there are several things that I can do without...I'm trying to get used to the idea of strip malls and conspicuous consumption again...

Anyway, I start my job on the 15th of this month, and we're busily trying to find a house to buy...the cost of housing is outrageous. We've bid on five houses so far and not received any of them...it's tough to even give it much serious thought because if you spend too much time deciding you want to buy a house it's already too late...it'll have been sold by the time you make up your mind.

Anyway...more updates when I have more energy.
